Sun and Fun

Remember when you were a kid and you went to the beach, lake or pool?  Remember how you suddenly transformed into a deep sea diver, a mermaid or an olympic swimmer as soon as your feet touched the water?

My sisters and I used to swim for hours everyday in our family pool.  Our favorite thing to do was to put on underwater ballet shows for our parents.  It was such fun!  We would beg our mom to let us stay in the pool all the way to bedtime. 

It's funny how life cycles around.  This week we have been watching our kids swim like mermaids, race like olympic champs and dive for sunken treasures.  It has been such a joy to see the cousins and siblings together.  I love it!  I also love watching them play with my sister and their grandma (Nana).

Little Monkey has decided not to be a train conductor after all.  He now wants to be a professional floater.
