A Whole 'Nother Level

There is nothing quite like girl bonding time.  What could be more fun than getting together with ladies in your life that you love and spending some great quality time?

Getting together and making memories is fun.  Getting together and making memories while making jewelery takes it to a whole 'nother level.

All of us girls got together and went to Diakonos Designs and had a blast designing jewelery.

Just take a look at the gorgeous handmade clay beads that the ladies at Diakonos design. 

There are literally thousands of these beauties filling drawers, bowls and boxes all around the studio.

Beads of every color, shape and size

Everybody say, "Oh!", "Ah!", "Oi!"

 My girls and I choose a theme based around these clay heart stoppers. 

Then the real fun started as we went on a treasure hunt to find just the right accessories to complement our heart centerpieces. 

 With some help from the Diakonos dears, Becky and Kathy (Hi Ladies!),

And some more help from sweet Aunt Susan (Hi Susan!) and lovely cousin Taylor (Hi Taylor!).

We were well on our way to designing our necklaces.

 And after many laughs, lots of brainstorming, and creativity...

This is my necklace.  The clay heart was made by a child and it symbolizes my love for Music Man.  The six little hearts symbolize my love for our precious monkeys.

We ended up with amazing necklaces and even more amazing memories.

Each of my girls made a necklace with a heart as the center piece.

And after all of that "work" it was time for a girls' lunch with Grandma (Hi Mom!).  What a great way to end a wonderful day!
